At Foothold, we value having the ability for our community to come together, relax, and connect. On July 24th, we did just that. Dozens of our northeast agencies joined us for a fun afternoon at the Trenton Thunder ballpark for a riveting game against the Altoona Curve. We were excited to interact with both new and familiar faces alike and couldn’t have asked for better summer weather.
Foothold co-founder Nick Scharlatt kicked the game off, stepping up to the mound to throw the first pitch. Trenton started the game off right with a quick lead after the first inning. Unfortunately, Altoona gained a 4-1 lead by the end of the seventh. In the final inning, Trenton squeezed in another run, but was not able to come back. The game ended with a 4-2 loss for Trenton.
Despite the unfavorable outcome, we had a great day at the stadium. For those who couldn’t make the event, we hope you can make it to our next Foothold outing. Big thanks to everyone who came out, and we hope you enjoyed your day at the ballpark!
