On November 3rd, Foothold Technology hosted the third annual AWARDS Midwest Users Group in Chicago. The day-long event was attended by many of our customers in the region, including several agencies that made the trek from Milwaukee to join us. A Safe Haven Foundation, one of our long-standing clients in Chicago, hosted the event at one of their beautiful residential sites that doubles as their administrative headquarters.
Senior Project Manager Laura Marshall led the Users Group along with Tanya Coraci and Kelly Pickell of Foothold’s Quality Assurance team; each of whom brought their own areas of expertise to the table. Along with CEO Marlowe Greenberg who joined virtually, we covered a range of topics that included the new ReportBuilders, recent enhancements, the AWARDS Project Pipeline, and Meaningful Use. During lunch, we broke into roundtables and attendees had a chance to informally discuss the implementation process, HUD/HMIS issues, or stop by Tanya’s “Help Desk Live” station for assistance with an agency-specific question. All in all it was a day packed with information and networking opportunities, as well as a chance for our Midwest region clients to get to know each other and Foothold Technology better.
We particularly enjoy seeing the new faces that join us each year, as well as strengthening ties with those clients that come back year after year. We are looking forward to the fourth annual Midwest Users Group next year and to working with our clients to make the event even better!
